help with my diabetic pet
i just found out that my pet skunk is diabetic. what should i do?
You need to take him to the vet. He'll probably need a low carbohydrate diet and insulin infections from time to time.
she was drinking alot of water and peeing alot so i did take her to the vet that i work for. that is when i found out that she is diabetic. she is on 2 1/2 units of vetsulin twice a day. any suggestions on a good diet?
Your skunk needs a ballanced nutrition. Don't let it eat food you prepared. Try to only give it food manufactured for animals. That way your skunk will get the nutrients it needs in a ballanced way.
