I have just been tested to find out if I have gardnerella... wich would cause the odor from my discharge... and the results came back fine. Should I still try Destinol ?? I've tried every other method I can think of... from washing with Vagisil odor control to eating fruits and yogourt... Nothing seems to work.
Hi, regarding your question about about gardnerella, also referred to as bacterial vaginosis, or simply BV. You may still have this condition, even if the first test was negative. Sometimes the bacteria may not be present on the particular swab that was taken. Especially if you are exhibiting the symptoms, the odor, itching, etc. I had the same problem for several months. Until I learned about a natural cure, that is guaranteed to relieve these symptoms. A nature cure is much healthier, because the medications prescribed for BV, simply cause the bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics. I would suggest that you read my article about this subject. This is the most common vaginal infection, and many women have recurring symptoms, it is very difficult to cure permanently. Here is the link to my article. Good Luck, and I hope you feel better soon. Angela
