Describing the youth of today

How would you complete this sentence: "The youth of today are _____."?  I'm looking for descriptions that would best apply to the current generation of teenagers and young adults.

RE: Describing the youth of today

"The Youth of Today are___." .......I would say that the youth of today (myself included) are overprotected, underappreciative, technologically addicted (reiterating what Meme already said), irrisponsable, adventurous, creative, hopeful, young adults freewheeling through time and space and hoping not to land on their faces. (which we all inevitably do anyway.)

Today's youth are both the best I have ever seen, and the absolute worst I have ever seen, as far as I have seen.
