I understand what you are trying to prove, and it is an interesting point. I think that in order to be friends with a person of the opposite sex, you need to share the same basic values, otherwise your relationship will not last. Sure, opposites do attract, the question is, is it just physical? It depends on what you are looking for in a relationship.
