I have experienced this same thing. In my 20's and 30's I lived on a roller coaster too. I found my solution by accident. I have always struggled with my weight and when fen-phen came out I took it. One of them was actually also an antidepressant. While to was on it for weight-loss all of my pms symptoms dissappeared. When I went off they all came back. My doctor them prescribed citalapram (a generic). I have had a changed life ever since. I am now 45. You may have to try different drugs before you find the right one for you. Don't give up. At one time I would use a pill cutter and take a half for my good week and a whole pill during my rough weeks. My kids were happier and so was my husband.I hope this helps.
