Depleted savings no more money to pay alimony?

You are still obligated to the fullest especially if you have an ex spouse that wont let you have any breathing room. The best thing is go and see the judge, tell him that your trying your best and that its a tough market out there and you need more time to get situated.  Because they do throw people in jail over this matter and mainly for avoiding it.  You care for your kids just as much as anybody and that hurts the most.  But if hard times are a fallin then you may need to look outside your local region to find work.  Im sure your children would love to see you smile again!

Hire a lawyer or talk to a judge about getting your alimony payments reduced or even paused for the time being.  Maybe talk to your ex and explain your circumstances.  Lastly, talk to someone about a debt management program to straighten out all your bills so you have money left over.
