can a 13 year old get dental implants? My 13 year old stepson had a bike accident and 5 of his permanent teeth were knocked out. He was seen by 3 maxillofacial surgeons who said that the teeth cannot be surgically attached because the success rate is so low after more than 8 hours. His mother refuses to accept this and is trying to find someone to do it. She also does not understand that he should not have implants until he gets older because he is still growing.
