Home improvement projects, "Get'er done."

I have had and heard several surround sound systems and the rear speakers were kind of low. In most cases, I think it’s normal. Check the back of your speakers for the impedance rating. Make sure that your system is set to that number. Also go into your settings menu and see if your system will allow you to turn the volume up on your rear speakers. My system allows for several adjustments in speaker sound and distance so I’m pretty sure that most systems will allow for it also.
