Delayed and lost baggage - I was in a 1.5 week biz travel and the flight company lost my baggage. Only after I came back home they found it and returned it to me. How much money should they pay me?
Unfortunately there isn't any world standard for delayed baggage compensation, so it depends much on the airline. If you got you luggage back I wouldn't expect anything more than 100$, based on previous experience of friends.
My guess is that they're not going to pay you anything since they found your luggage, even though it was late and didn't help you while you were on your trip. I think that they would more likely give you a free ticket to travel somewhere. Did they offer to pay you something or to compensate you?
Love your life.
You should submit the receipts for anything you had to purchase due to your luggage being lost and expect nothing less than that. I'd also say for the aggravation, they should add no less than $100 or a free roundtrip ticket to anywhere the airline flies to.
