Kids at 11 should not have to diet BUT should maintain a healthy diet.

56 thumbs up

Everyone not just kids should be conscious of what and how much they are eating.  But even more important for kids is to maintain a high activity level.

Not necessarily "exercise" but just being out and about.  A severely overweight child should see a pediatrician.

Not a diet but restrict sodas and sweets: these are treats not mainstays.
