I would keep the room simple. Pick out her favorite color and paint the walls. Then you can choose some items that you know she adores and decorate the room around them. You can also provide her with some ways to organize or display some of those items that you have chosen, such as shelving units. By making simple changes, you can give her a big change while leaving her some freedom to continue the decorations to her liking as well! Good luck.
