Certainly, your credit will be destroyed.  A judgement may be placed against you, which may be extended indefinitely.  Thus, when you eventually get employment, your wages could be garnished.  Also, should someone bequeath you property, or you purchase property, a lien may attach to the property.  Some employers  and almost all landlords will check the credit of a prospective employee or tenant.  Be prepared for unhappy consequences.

Have you sought any debt counseling help ?  They can do alot of things to you, many of which won't be too nice.  They can come after anything you own or have your name on.  Worse yet, they can go after anything your family co-signed with you.
