Reliable answers to your credit questions.

You sound like you're at the end of your rope. Hang on, though. There are options. If you've tried talking with a credit counselor and that's not an option, then make an appointment to talk with a bankruptcy attorney. The consultation should be free, and it confidential. It may provide the fresh start you sound like you need.

Struggling with your mortgage? When you have questions, and need straight honest information... ASK ASK ASK! www.loanmodificationsrus.com

Depending on the amount of debt you have, bankruptcy may be the best resolution given your circumstances.   Whatever debt resolution you choose, it will take self control to get through it, but keep your chin up and know that you can make it through this difficult time, and you are not alone.  The economy has so many consumers facing tremendous pressure from debt, and I applaud you for looking for an answer rather than pretending a problem doesn't exist and trying to hide from it.  Good luck, and God Bless.

If you are in serious debt, debt settlement is a much better option than bankruptcy. A bankruptcy will be listed and hold your credit score down for 10 years, while the delinquent payments incurred while enrolled a Debt Settlement program will be there for only 7 years (and in some instance, even less). So at a minimum, your credit report will be cleared at least three years earlier when using Debt Settlement company as opposed to bankruptcy. Another important factor to remember is that a typical debt settlement program ultimately resolves your debts for much less than other debt relief options. And, unlike bankruptcy, you won't have to sell your house or other assets in order to free yourself of your liabilities.

It is better to seek help from any reputed debt settlement company. Such companies can handle it properly as they are experts in that field. I took help of freedom debt relief to get rid of my debts. I have joined their debt reduction program one year back and now I am almost debt free. Source(s):
