The United States Constitution is a living document subject to the Articles of Amendment. Some Amendments were better considered than others. For example, "Impassioned women" decided that mother knows best: the WCTU manipulated the 18th Amendment (Volstead act) made such a mockery of law that none of it was enforceable. Article 21 repealed the Volstead Act, to the horror of the controlling Mafia -- who lost their absolute monopoly on liquor.
Similar thinking about repealing the Second Amendment, of course, is there specifically to give the Columbian Mafia and MS-13 gang exclusive control over guns so that the nation will be reduced to a bloodbath and fall to any well-armed opponent force. Sorry, leftists, those are the facts of life and you know it.

Do you know any people who disagree with your politics? Do you ever talk with them, learn anything from them, teach anything to them?
I suppose in your eyes I would be a liberal, although I do not like labels and I do not think the label really applies to me. But I do not recognize myself or liberals in your pitiful caricature. Many people of sound mind really do not see the world the way you do -- and you do not have to agree with them to understand this. But you have very little sense of what makes people tick who disagree with you.
It is not too late to start getting some of this sense.
If I let my sense of moral outrage be my guide, I would be outraged by you if I took your views seriously or they made any sense.
