I am not a computer games freak. To be honest, the only game I played and liked was "day of the tentacle" -- and it was 10 years ago. Can anyone recommend a similar game that I might like?
You may like "Sam & Max hit the road".
It's about a dog and a bunny who investigate crimes.
Like "Day of the tentacle" it is also a crazy quest with some good jokes.
Although I must mention that no game will ever compare to "Day of the tentacle"
(including this one...).
what a game that was… I sooo liked it. You might want to check other LucasArts games, such as: Maniac mansion, Full throtle, Monkey Island and Grim Fandango.
Not evreything is good, But everything is for good.
There is a game that called: "Maniac Mansion" which is the game that came before "Day of the Tentacle".
Good Luck
I would reccomend the Legends of Kyrandia series, and Indiana Jones: The Fate of Atlantis.
I recommend on Goblins & Beneath a Steel Sky. Both are great point and click games.
As you may notice, all the games recommended here are quite old.
The "Adventure games" genre has been quite dead for a while now. However there has been a few successful exceptions during the past.
Let me recommend a few adventure games that have been successful, and are slightly less old.
Runaway - A decent cell-shaded adventure game that had some level of success.
Psychonauts - an adventure / action game by Tim Schafer, the Genius behind Grim Fandago and the Monkey Island series.
Fahrenheit - Not funny, but is said to be the best adventure games in years.
You may also like liesure siut larry 7,
It's also an adventure game where you have to find items, and such,
its also verry cool!
Adding to all the above suggestion the entire "Leisure Suit Larry" series (well, maybe except "Magna Cum Laude" :)). You will definitely love it!
