Daunting list of dietary needs

I have recently started seeing a guy who has gout, high cholesterol and blood pressure, as well as a seafood allergy. I am an accomplished cook, and I know that all of these conditions can be affected by diet, but I'm no nutritionist, and I'm finding this list more than a little daunting. I have looked into it a little bit, but I'm struggling. Can anyone help?

I recently went to a new doctor and noticed he was located in something called the Professional Building. I felt better right away.

There are so many sites on the Internet that deal with special diets, so what I suggest you do is start with these 3 sites and choose the ones that are most suitable for your friend. I have also found that many of the blogs are extremely helpful.

During the last week of July, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the drug Colcrys to treat acute flairs in patients with gout. The medication’s active ingredient is colchicine, which has been used by healthcare practitioners for many years to treat gout but had not been approved by the FDA. For more information see this web site.
