Love is the battery of life....

Dates on T.V.

Hi,

TV stations show us now all major events of 2007.  For some reason they don't show the date it happend same applies to all sport events.... (all the year) they show a competition without specifying the date it took place.   I wonder why.  Any ideas ?
Happy New Year to all,

I do really look forward to turkey-day dinner all year-round....

Maybe because it's supposed to be a sort of summary of all the important/meaningful things that happened in the year, they are trying to focus our attention on the fact that all these things happened just in the span of the year (2007, this time).  They aren't trying to give us a history lesson, as to what exact date each event happened.  It also looks nicer artistically to make a sort of collage, without it looking like a history lesson.  I don't know, I'm just brain storming :)  Happy New Year to you too.

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS

I think they want you to look up the event to discover the date and perhaps learn more about what happened. It's annoying sometimes but I tend to google things alot...like when I saw footage of the Hindenburg disaster.I wanted to know more so I found it's wiki and absorbed facts like a sponge!

I dunno....maybe they don't think that in depth about it but I'm crazy so I do!Good post!
