A:The human eye can pickup only a limited amount of light, that is, when you are in the city - the lights around you will blind your eyes and you will not be able to see alot of stars. when you are in the wild, given there are no clouds and city lights, you will be able to see alot of stars and maybe even notice the "Milky Way".
