Why there's a place at the night that there's no stars up the sky?

Hi.

 

there are starts at the sky - you just can't see them.

Something is in the way. it can be clouds or even air pollution (thats why you can see bright stars when you are off the main roads)

The human eye can pickup only a limited amount of light,  that is, when you are in the city - the lights around you will blind your eyes and you will not be able to see alot of stars. when you are in the wild, given there are no clouds and city lights, you will be able to see alot of stars and maybe even notice the "Milky Way".
