Once a pirate ship has been identified, they should be fired on after one warning to turn back before pirate ships are able to chase and mount a targeted vessel.

The US Coast Guard, French Navy, Brirtish Navy, Kriegsmarine, and two dozen other navies have come up short in patrolling their coastal waters for pirates.  Pirates have as much satellite technology as any nation, and they share info, as well as split the profits from captured vessels.

The thing is, they have no real use for stolen cargoes.  They just walk aboard, kill everyone in sight, and that is easy pickings.  Then they use that commandeered boat to smuggle illegal drugs.  That is where they make their real money.  That is how they get past navies.

The ONLY way I can see to stop the piracy is to harden the targets.  Do not disarm crews.  Instead, talk to the captains of vessels that could become pirate fodder, check them out to avoid specified categories of "disqualified" persons, and putr them armed appropriately in our home waters.  Deputgize every American boat to act as a lookout -- for $5,000.00 to spot an illegally used craft for the Coast Guard to inspewct -- and inside a week, the Mediin cocaine cartel will have to find someone else to hook.

Then we give the private sailors training in how to call in and direct Naval gunfire, direct missile shots, and pursue smugglers from a safe distance.  Then we arm them with the sort of weapons that they can use to beat the pirates at their own game.

To control the drugs, we must ignore the paranoids who hate anyone who can take care of themselves.  After all, our last vestige of independence is viewed with cold hostility by all leftist liberals.

Because Obama and absolutely ALL of his surly lackeys hate you and me with equal ferocity, they want us to be destroyed.  That meansx we mustr first be forcibly disarmed, so that gangs and pirates can commandeer all our lives. 

That is why Hitler disarmed the Jews.  It will happen again under Obama.  That assures wanton bloodshed and makes street gangs all-powerful.  THAT is the reason they want us helpless in the face of armed criminals, like the Mediin cocaine cartel and Black Panthers.  One helps the other to force your children to experiment with illegal drugs or become a hated outcast.

That sort of threat and bitter tyranny is called "peer pressure."

You cannot pressure an armed and loyal citizen.
