Dance with Father, to which song?

Can someone give me suggestions for great love songs that I could use for the dance with my dad at my wedding?

"Forever Young" by Rod Stewart.  He in fact wrote it for his child...listen to the words and you'll see why it would be perfect for a father/daughter or mother/son first dance.

Second choice is from Fiddler on the Roof  "Sunrise Sunset"...it's rather sad though, so you might want to save that....but it does express the love of a parent for a child.

There's an oldie, sung by Al Martino, called "Daddy's Little Girl. If you're interested you might Google it. Lyrics are: You're the end of the rainbow, my pot of gold, You're daddy's little girl to have and hold. A precious gem is what you are, You're mommy's bright and shining star. You're the spirit of Christmas, my star on the tree, You're the Easter bunny to mommy and me. You're sugar you're spice, you're everything nice, And you're daddy's little girl. You're the treasure I cherish so sparkling and bright, You were touched by the holy and beautiful light. Like angels that sing a heavenly thing, And you're daddy's little girl.

How about "Daddy'sGirl" by Red Sovine or "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion? With regards to the Luther Vandross song.It is a beautiful song, but it's about someone wishing they & their mother could have one more dance with the father because he has passed away.
