The best diet is to eat what is closest to its natural state with the fewest preservetives and additives. For example, don't buy packaged food in boxes and cans, buy fresh veggies and fruits. Shop around the store, don't shop in the asles. IE deli, fresh fruit and veggies, pure dairy products, fresh meat etc. If you just do this much, you will cut your calories naturally and your system will begin to balance itself properly. Remember the more you cook something, the more of its natural value seeps away. If you shop around the edges, you avoid the fattening, bad for you stuff including chips, cookies, sugary cerial and everything.
