DC Super Tanker to ward off Wildfires in California

When figting the wildfires in California, why are they using only DC=Super Tanker rather than the 747 that carries twice as much? Why not use the carrier that can put an end to the fire more quickly?

The first step can take you anywhere!

I would imagine it has something to do with the weight of the water, i don't know the answer for sure but i would imagine a 747 full of water is bloody heavy, i know it's a big plane. Then when it's half full...i'm talking about the way the water moves about on the plane, balast yeah. This is not an answer, just an opinion. I will watch and see.
