Cutting out carbs

I am considering trying the Atkins diet. Will cutting out carbs make me too lethargic or are there other ways to get energy from a diet without carbs?

Work hard or go home.

I've never personally done the Atkins diet and I'll tell you why. Simply put, this "Dr. Atkins" died of his own malnutrition. The diet itself has you eating high amounts of meat which is not always healthy; it also has you eating almost no carbs which is not good if you are very active. You will feel tired all the time and never fully satisfied from what you're eating. If you are interested in learning more about eating healthy, without paying extra for the name of the diet, you can check out this

Best of luck to you.

MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS

Dr.Atkins died from head trauma at the tender age of 72.He felt well enough to try to walk home through snow storm so I doubt he was malnourished. You should do a little research before posting such a blatant lie.http://curezone.com/art/read.asp?ID=134&db=7&C0=6.Hockey I have always heard great things about the Atkins diet and the lack of energy usually goes away within a few days as your body adjusts to life without starches and sugar.I believe South Beach is a little healthier because you can eat more fruit and whole grains but the Atkins diet is satisfying and fairly easy to do,plus you get fruit and grains the farther along in the diet you get.You can get a Atkins book off amazon for less than a dollar. There's another low-carb diet gaining popularity called Kimkins...but it looks a little shady to me.Good luck!
