What exactly is a professional knife?  If it works well, than anyone can use it.  Are you asking if professional cooks use CUTCO knives?

Cutco is a very good quality knife manufacturer, they have been around since 1949 and I would be willing to bet that you would have a hard time finding a kitchen without at least one Cutco knife in it.

There are more expensive knives and lots of cheaper ones available. The thing to keep in mind is how often will you use it, is it well balanced and does it fit your hand well.

So if you are looking for a nice set of knives, then yes Cutco will do the job.

Good luck and best wishes.

There is no limit when it comes to professional cooking gear. I guess some chefs might say it isn't professional and that there are better brands you could go with. The question is does this really matter to you. You have to ask yourself what you need this knife for. If you are a chef, maybe you should go with something more expensive (I say expensive because sometimes that is the whole difference in reality). If you are just someone who likes to cook a lot I think Cutco will do.

Yes i would consider Cutco knives to be professional because they are made with highest steel available even better then Henkles. So yes they would definitely be considered professional. I saw marvelous World Wonders a while back on the sharpest knives and they were on there. I also saw a clip on a website called

Check this, they are the best knives available. I don't just say this because I sell them. I wouldn't sell a product that I don't believe in. They are made with the highest quality materials available at the highest grade available. They are backed with the best guarantee in the buisness, you will never have to buy another knife as long as you live. If you are interested in investing in a set of cutco for yourself, contact me at marknalley@yahoo.com and I will order you your cutco.
