The USA has had an "economic blockade" of Cuba for nearly 50 years. But, Cuba has many friends around the world - the old "iron curtain" countries, Canada, Spain, most of Latin America and Africa, China, etc. So...why and how has the US embargo negatively affected Cuba? Can't they get anything they need from their "friends"? Why do they "need" or want the USA as a trading partner? The world (ex-USA) has everything that Cuba could ever need.
