I guess there are some shoes with more traction than others, and if you look at the bottom of crocs, they have a lot of little bumps on the bottom, sort of like hiking boots. However, the difference is that the little bumps at the bottom of crocs are soft, just like the rest of the shoe, which makes it easier to get nudged into the end of an escalator. In the end though, I think that this should bring some awareness to parents to be more careful with their kids, especially if they're wearing crocs... and anyone old enough to read these stories alone should be more careful as well.
