Crochet Pattern Help

I have been to 4 forums and can't get an answer so here I am.....I am crocheting an afghan. I am on row 12 and suddenly the instructions begin: Ch4, turn; dc in next dc, *ch 1, dc in next dc, dc in next ch-1 sp and in next dc, ch 4, skip next 2 dc and next 3 chs.....etc.

I am fine up until: skip next 2 dc and next 3 chs....what does this mean or how do I do this? I can skip next 2 dc but what are next 3 chs????

Thank you for any help you can give!

Rebecca

Natural health = good health naturally.

Hi.  Without seeing the whole pattern it is hard to know exactly what to do, but, it sounds like the pattern has a repeating chain 4 in it.  So, I am assuming that what it is telling you is to skip the two dc that were before the chain 4 (that was on the previous row since you are working back across the previous row) then skip the first three stitches of the chain 4 and do whatever stitch is next in the fourth stitch of the chain 4.  Hope this helps.
