I am not sure if you know how to crochet already, but will recommend this site for step by step instructions. Now to crochet a shawl you will need a pattern. This site will offer a few options. Crocheting is a great past time which I love. Good luck!

I went to make a bible cover the pattern say to skip a stick and dlb in the next stich then go back and dlb in the one you sikp what dose that mean?
