What would Gibbs do?

Crest Whitening Strips and sensitivity!

I used a free sample of Crest Whitening Strips for about 35 minutes and my teeth are hurting now. The sensitivity is enough to keep me awake at night. What can I do to fix this problem? I have tried rinsing my mouth with Listerine to see if that would help and it didn't. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Go and get you some "Sensodyne" tooth paste, its for senitive teeth. Using that a couple times a day should help. When using it at night don't eat or drink anyting, and when using it during the day don't eat or drink for at least an hour. Also, don't rinse your mouth while brushing, just spit. Floride normally helps to desinitise teeth.

My mom has really sensitive teeth and I know she uses Sensodyne and she loves it! The first time I tried whitestrips, my teeth were really sensitive. However, the next time I tried them, my teeth felt fine. I think if you really want whitestrips to work, just try them again and hopefully your teeth will have gotten used to them. Good luck!
