A:In this day and age get a safe keep it at home as to many banks that fail, Also look at it this way at only 2% or 3% is it worth it the risk of a bank gowing under also look at it this way the banks charge you if you dont keep a minimun amount in it. As also look at it this way the GOVERMENT OWN'S the banks like no more free checking accounts so ask what is in your own best interest.
