I have applied to Am-ex for a credit card. I have decided that I do not want it. I never acctivated it.  Must I still pay the application fee of $125.?

You don't have to pay the annual fee. call your credit card company immediately and inform them that you are going to cancel your credit card.

As long as you don't use it you'll be OK. They Shouldn't give you any problems with this if you notify them in time.

you should never have to pay for an application fee when getting a credit card because there are so many cards out there that have no fees to choose from check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com here you will be able to compare all major cards side by side on rates, fees and rewards.
