I don't have credit cards anymore.  I'm still paying off a couple a balances that I had when I was married.  I use my debit card for most everything now that my bank offers a point system as well.  By changing the way I pay bills and do my grocery shopping, I earn 1 point for every $2.00 spent on the card.  There are very few restrictions and because it's not an actual credit card there isn't any interest.  There's no set monthly fees or payments either.  We have a special account set up where we put a specified amount of money into it each pay day and then transfer the funds when we want to go on a trip or buy something that's "out of budget" as we call it.  We've been doing this now for about three years and so far it's working pretty good for us.

hi, i use my credit cards for everything i purchase and i fly for FREE all over the world. pointsjunkie-flyforfree.blogspot.com/

I let my purchases work for me, I don't buy anything that I don't get miles or points for.

I had 5 first class tickets last year, 4 Jetblue, 4 Southwest, and 4 coach seats. I go away almost every month.

I do pay all my credit cards off every month, I never carry a balance but I am flying for FREE>

I mostly trade them in for gift cards. Then I either use them or give them to people who I know could use them.Thats the best way to make use of the points you have earned.

I love using my credit and charge cards just to get the points.  I then convert the points into gift cards which either I use or give away to friends and family.  It's a great program feature!  You must be savy in choosing your cards to make sure you get the best deals.  I do not have credit card debt but do use the cards for everyday spending.

I use the points to travel for free. I never pay the minimum of credit cards. If they ask me for $100 I pay $500.
Interests are very high. I consider credit cards a scam.

A great way to get your credit score up if you have a lot of debt is to go through a debt consolidation company that can reduce your debt, eliminate your interest rates completely and provide you with a monthy program that works best for you to pay off your debt.  As you do this your credit score goes up. When I was in debt I used SafeTrust financial. I believe the website is Safetrustfinancial.com. Call for a guy named Antoine 888-565-8974 ext. 2004
