Hi Darlene,
Cream eye shadows work well when you have first prepared your lid with a make up primer. It gives you a clean smooth surface to work on and creates a barrier between your make up and your skin. If you have dry skin cream shadows work well, regular dry shadows work well with oily skin. With the primer you can use either no matter what your skin type is.
I use Arbonne's Vitural Illusion Make up Primer. The cost is $32.50 retail and is offered to preferred clients at 20% off. My primer lasted approx. 4 months using it everyday. You need very little to make it go a long ways. if you want to buy some go to www.seethedifference.myarbonne.com If you are ever unhappy Arbonne offers a 45 day guarantee. So check it out and good luck!
