I do hair for a living , it's not a uncommon condition. It's mainly from not massaging your scalp enough, first of all wash your hair really well everyday. I have parents who bring in their teens etc. with this , I tell them the same thing and magic it goes away. the t-gel shampoo does sound good also or use a tea tree from a salon, it should really clear up in a couple weeks. because all cradle cap is , is dead skin left on the scalp.  good luck
