Cost of trenchless sewer repair

Trenchless technology seams to be a good idea. What would be the range of costs for a 20-30Feet relining job from a takeout to the street connection in Los Angeles? I just want to have an idea before even thinking about it further. $2000-$4000? more?

I have a townhouse in Costa Mesa. The townhouse was built in 1064. I have Ficus tree roots that have grown into the sewer line and I have spent $1055 between snaking costs to have the roots "snaked out" and having three relining companies out to give me an estimate. They are quoting the trenchless relining method that would take 2 days. They would dig around the drain in my patio and push or pull a felt liner that has a resin coating which "cures in place."

I have had three quotes, two at $9000 and one at a unbelievable $19,000 for 67 feet of relining. The guy that gave me the $19,000 gave me a reference list. I called 8-9 people in the reference list and they said they were very satisifed with the work but paid $4000 to $5000. I think this relining company is  totally trying to rip me off with a quote of $19,000. I think the $9000 quote is too high as well.

I am trying to see if my homeowners assocation will pay for part of the work since the Ficus trees are owned by the association and not me. I can't even pay myself to have the trees trimmed or removed.
