Cooking Meat in Slow Cooker

Why is my meat dry out of the slow cooker?

Meat that is dry after slow cooking is due to overcooking or it was not the correct cut of meat. Make sure to follow the timings in your recipe. Ask the butcher if you need help choosing the correct cut of meat called for in the recipe. Less tender cuts of meat work best in the slow cooker.

in addition to what was said above-

try using a fatter cut of meat,

and/or a cut that is ON the bone.

bones prevent drying of meat that is on them.

use the LOW setting of your slowcooker.
