I'm not looking this up, or researching the answer, and I'm a woman. I'm telling you from experience. If you want a cool looking Chopper out of a Custom Sportster, the best purchases you can make , which will lead to 2 major big differences and steps are......1.Get you a beefy Wide glide set of Front forks and triple trees, which match you model. And 2.Extend the rake a few degrees, not over 6 for safety's sake, unless you have one heck of a Mechanic!
This will not only give you a chopper, but a bad ass beefy HOT looking chopped ride coming down the Street. I also added a 4 gal. 1940's model stretched tank to mine, and people flip when they see it.
