Asked about “How do I connect my DVR to my TV and VCR?”

Connecting a hdtv, vcr & a/v surround sound system

I have a Sanyo VCR, a Sanyo HDTV and a Yamaha DVD Home Theater Sound System and need to know how to properly connect all three. I just use a regular HD antenna for my TV input. I have all the required cables including HDMI. Does using a HDMI cable preclude the use of any of the other cables?

I am actually not sure but have you thought about contacting a technician at Best Buy or Circuit City? They can likely come out to your house for very little to set everything up.
