Confused, hurt, and recovering slowly....

I didn't find out until he changed from a relationship to wanting to be friends.  My ex keeps letting his ex come back into his life when she wants to.  I know since we're supposed to be friends none of that should matter, but it does.  I feel I was nothing in his life and now due to some instinces we stopped all contact and he is bad mouthing me.  I am very upset to feel this must have just been a dream of mine that I was living.  How can you be friends when there have been so many damaging things that have happened?

Live simply, love generously and  care deeply.

I think that when a couple separate and divorce, they should avoid keeping in contact with each other.  This will just cause confusion.  When 2 people divorce, that means that whatever the other party does is no longer the business of the other.

Let him live his life and live yours.  You can never be good friends with an ex.

Move on with your life and find someone you will be happy with and stop looking back and paying attention  to your ex.

Best wishes to you.

Learn to be a good listner.

He doesn't sound like a very nice guy to bad mouth you. Letting his ex back in his life just tells me he still cares about her.  Run away fast as you can and find a decent man who has no attachments and start fresh.  Why would you even want a guy like that in your life.  Have more respect for yourself.  Good Luck.

Hi Learning  , Take dogbreeders good advice 2 thumbs up for her .  Your X BF and his X Wife are still emotionally involved and perhaps physically as well .   Seems they still have some strong , deep feelings for one another.  Get this guy out of your life completely , you cannot be friends so do not even try .  Be glad you found all this out now and not after you married this guy .  Move on and find a Man who loves you , with good qualities like loyality and honesty and make a life with him , you will be much happier .
