Is Celeron D 330 equivalent to Pentium 2?  I want to install software that specifies Pentium 2 500 MHz (or equivalent) as the minimum processor acceptable.  I'm not computer savvy enough to know if it will work, or where to find out.

Best shot will be to have it installed. Worst case, uninstall. The only guys that may know to answer this question are the tech support guys for this specific program. Another option that may come up, if the processor isn't fast enough, is a message declaring so, to appear upon installation.
