Does anyone know how to access five year old business records from a windows 98?    Mind you, I am a computer novice and will have to be able to read the answer many times. Thanx

I'm sorry, I meant to say that my husband has not been able to get his business records (or income tax stuff) for five years.

 

As you can see, I am bearly functioning as a computer geek, but my husband said that he cannot remember his: pin number or access number. He needs this stuff to go to the irs and figure out what he owes them or they owe him.

Most of the web sites have a support, and even a "forgot my password" button. Try to look for one of those.

you mean they are stored on the windows 98 computer but its password protected?

if thats the case just connect the harddrive of the windows 98 computer to your new/other one then you can acces it trough the other pc (you can ask a local computer store if they can retrieve the data from the harddisk for you.
