w/c is why having a tire change can be disastrous if the tire service people do not know how to deal with these tire pressure sensors

There is a wireless electronic transmitter attached to the outside or inside of each wheel that is connected to the valve stem. It sends a signal to the car's computer. It measures tire pressure and transmits that info to the computer, which displays the reading to you on the dash.
