Hello: In most cases your "Power Supply" is being "Over Used". You have too many periferals connected to your computer and not enough power to "Run" them all. Alot of this is caused by the use of too many USB items, cameras, printers, card readers, Etc:. If this is the case you may want to get a "Powered" usb hub. It has it's own (plug in to wall) power. You may also have a Faulty Power Supply. Any computer shop can install a new More Powerfull one for you. The cost will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $90.00. Or if you know someone who does their own upgrading of computers they can do it for you in trade for a six pack....lol. Fry's has dependable aftermarket Power Supplys ranging from $39.00 to $69.00 (350-400 watt). Good luck........... I'm looking forward to your "Responce" about the cause and treatment for this. John
