Computer compatible with HDMI tv monitor?

What type of computers are capable of being hooked up to a tv that is HDMI, in other words can any computer provided it has a certain type of connection?

Most modern computers with a good graphics card has a connection called DVI.

HDMI is basically DVI + Sound.

You can get a cable that hooks up to HDMI from one side and DVI from the other side. This cable, however, won't send sound so you will have to hook your sound card output to your TV's speaker or other external speakers.
