Reverse Mortgage Counselors don't receive commissions - do you mean Reverse Mortgage Originator? The Origination Fee on a $400,000.00 house will be between $2,500.00 and $6,000.00. You should also be looking at the Monthly Service Fee, because you'll save money in that area too if it's $25.00 per month.
