Collecting on home buying credit for a Veteran.

My Husband is a 100% disabled 3 war 4 bronze star veteran. I am very pleased :) My Question: Since He doesnt pay taxes, His income is not taxable money, and in Oklahoma He is tax exempt. How do we, if possible get any tax credit? we bought a home last yr. We support teens who are unable to suport themselves. and do support the economy. We feel as if we are being punished in some way. It really feels unfair. How do we if possible collect on these credits we believe are ours also. Thank You, Kim Morning, Oklahoma

contact a tax preparer. You might be able to file a 1040.
