Read Tom Hopkins book "How to master the art of selling" This will give you some of the best advice you will ever receive. To answer more in depth would require more information on whether you are selling a service or a product and if it is a business to business or business to consumer product.

Whatever you do, divide the calling list up into small chunks that you can handle in one session.  Leave enough time to be able to do the follow ups that you have designed in your campaign.  Check out some of the

small business marketing topics on the blog at this site.

The real question is how to position your company so they call you, that's called marketing and then worry about how you call them; that's called sales.  Marketing before sales.
