Co-Worker Non Productive

How can I get my boss to notice a co-worker that screws off half the day, while I am at my desk 99% of the time...I end up with extra tasks, because she cant get them done (due to her screwing off)?

First, start documenting when your co-worker ducks out on specific tasks. Then, schedule a meeting with your boss. Withour being accusatory or hostile, calmly explain the situation: you feel that your co-worker is not pulling her weight around the office, and give examples. It's quite possible that your complaint may be one of several. Your boss may take it upon him/herself to casually observe your co-worker at work (or non-work) and act accordingly.
