Clinton vs. Obama: race and gender biases?

The race between Clinton and Obama is very close. How much do you think that gender and/or race biases will influence voters' decisions?

I don't feel at this point that race or gender is an issue. If it was it would have shown up at the beginning of the race and neither of them would be in the final two. It all comes down now to the political issues and which one the delegates and populace sides with most.

Good luck and best wishes.

I really hope it isn't an issue. If people are still caught up on that issue instead of looking at the candidate's opinions we are in big trouble.

I would expect that some people may still have prejudice thoughts but I don't think we're talking about large enough numbers to make a big difference.

ofcourse it's an issue! so many people will not vote for them because they are black or female that it's disguesting, but just as disgusting is the number of people who will vote for them for no other reason. my biggest fear right now is that "swing voters" are going to vote democratic this year just because they think it will be "neat" to have a female or black president, i say to them hold out for condoleeza rice, and except nothing less. if condoleezza were to run garanteed she wouldn't cry.
